Back in Business

:::pushes open the door and swats at cobwebs:::

What’s that musty smell? And where’s the damn light switch?

Ahhhh, okay, that’s more like it.

So. How’s tricks? I know, it’s been a while, but the time has come to breathe some life back into this blog. And if Tomo isn’t going to do it, then I will.

Who am I, you’re wondering? Don’t worry, I ask that myself daily. But to keep it all easy, I will heretofore be known as the Scout About Lackey.

In Tomo’s defense, work has been extremely crazy the past few months, which leaves little time for fun activities such as blogging. He has received two promotions within the past two months, and while congrats are in order, everybody knows that all work and no play makes Tommy a very dull boy–which can only mean it won’t be long before he is ready for a short vacation.

I happen to live in Ohio, and after some research on California, I’ve come to the conclusion that Santa Barbara looks like a wonderful place to visit. I mentioned this to Tomo one day, and he agreed that Santa Barbara looks lovely, but admitted that he’s not been there yet. I realized that since he’s been living in California, there are far too many places he has yet to enjoy. With his love of wine and traveling, that’s a waste of entire state!

So begins my list of Places in California Tomo Should Visit (When He Gets the Time).

Obviously titles aren’t my forte. But it will give me the opportunity to jump-start this blog, while helping Tomo look forward to some possible road trips in the near future. Win-win, the way I see it!

Now that I’ve checked in, it’s up to you to check back to see what ideas I come up with for Tomo’s trips. More soon!

  1. Who are you?! And how did you get in anyway? Break through a window?!

Seriously, I like what you’ve done with the place. What with all my galavanting around wine country, it WAS getting all cobwebby in here!
