Still More Hauntingly Good Fun
Yes, I’m getting way off-track here. But I love ghost stories, murder mysteries, and all things that go bump in the night. Well, as long as they aren’t bumping into ME. And since Chicago is my favorite city, I’m sending Tomo there next, despite the fact that he has no reason to go there. But it’s Chicago, people—who needs a reason to visit??????
Now I went into this research project with a pretty darn good idea that
I ended up finding an awesome site that had compiled an amazing amount of information on the scary and creepy aspects of
The story I was already familiar with is Resurrection Mary, who has been haunting
Mary may be the most popular, but the place with the most spirits, period, is said to be Bachelor’s Grove Cemetery. The cemetery has been abandoned, but the eerie stories remain. Since 1844, apparitions, glowing balls of light, and other unexplained phenomena have taken place here. There are even pictures of spirits and damage done to the cemetery supposedly at their hands.
Other stories include the Water Tower Ghost, The Sausage Vat Murder, The Grimes Sisters, and the site of the St. Valentine’s Day Massacre? I know, there’s just so much haunting going on, it’s a shame to miss it! I’ll be sending Tomo in the way, pronto! I’m quite certain he’ll find that
