The LA Times is reporting that ‘Infinite Jest’ writer David Foster Wallace has committed suicide. His wife [Karen Green] told Claremont police that the novelist and humorist who wrote ‘Infinite Jest’ hanged himself Friday night. 
No reason given for his suicide.
