Lindsay Lohan & the Roosevelt Hotel’s Dark Water

Just My Luck, starring Lindsay LohanIts no big secret that LiLo has a teeny-weeny problem with bad luck following her around like a shadow. In fact Lindsay Lohan even starred in a movie called Just my Luck built around this theme. But its still a bit shocking to read about all the goofy, idiotic and sometimes just plain ugly scrapes she gets herself into.

The newly ‘together’ lesb couple, DJ Sam Ronson and Linday Lohan, were, it seems, exposed to a pool which had water unchanged even after a corpse was found floating at the bottom of the pool. The location was one of these famed Hollywood hotels where the stars and starlets hobnob and unwind - The Roosevelt Hotel, home to Teddy’s and the legendary Tropicana Bar.

Page Six report says that at 4:30 a.m. Monday Oct. 13, Jordan Nagler, 30, a Rockville Centre, LI, native who was the executive director of International Student Exchange in Babylon, was found dead in the hotel’s Tropicana Bar pool…. One week later, the likes of Lindsay Lohan, Samantha Ronson, Eve, Kevin Connolly and Stacy Keibler “were swimming in the unchanged water,” our source added. On Monday, Justin Long, Sarah Chalke, Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks were there for an Effen Vodka-hosted party.

  1. This is getting out of hand. These articles are describing a friend and co-worker of mine as a corpse. Do you not think that there are people out here mourning the loss of a very wonderful young man. It is terrible to read about him in this manner. You just can’t believe everything you read! His home town is not even correct so how could anyone know for sure if the pool was drained. Maybe looking at the hotel maintanence logs would be a good place to start checking facts before blindly accepting someone else’s, namely, Page 6’s) account of what happened. It is all rumor and not fit to be published.

Maybe someone should look into the life of Jordan Nagler and see what an inspiration he was to all and have at least a kind word for him. His funeral had over 300 people and this weekend in NY his second service will have more than 100 present. He was a vibrant, beautiful person and his name just doesn’t need to be dragged through this kind of crap.
