Caffeinated Cities Survey & Free Disney Gift Cards
Think no one knows about how many cups of coffee you need in the morning? Well, wake up and smell the coffee, because they know all about it.
The second annual HealthSaver Caffeinated Cities Survey, commissioned by HealthSaver (www.healthsaver.com/) found that the most caffeinated city in the country is Tampa, followed by Seattle, Chicago, New York and Los Angeles. Photo by Hamed Masoumi via flickr (creative commons).
But don’t worry, it’s not all bad. Apparently, coffee and tea are now health foods…that can lower the risk of diabetes, heart disease, Parkinson’s disease, colon cancer, and cirrhosis of the liver, as well as lift your mood, treat headaches and even lower risk of cavities. Caffeine also enhances athleticism, endurance and performance, according to health care experts.
Oh, and the least caffeinated cities on the list are Riverside/San Bernardino, Atlanta, San Diego, Minneapolis/St. Paul, and Dallas. The other four cities I can understand that they might be incllined towards moderation and leading healthy lifestyle. But San Diego? I’d say that the only reason San Diego drinks less coffee is because there’s only so much coffee you can drink in the brief time that you find yourself sober.
Speaking of SoCal vacations, Disney is offering free gift cards to use for food and merchandise, provided you stay at one of the three Disneyland Resort’s on-site hotels in Anaheim.
Guests who stay at one of the three Disneyland Resort hotels - Disneyland Hotel, Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel, and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa - receive a Disney Gift Card — $50 for a two-night stay, $100 for a three- night stay, or $150 for a four-night stay. The gift cards are provided upon check-in and available for use at any of the Disney-owned restaurants and stores located inside Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure theme parks, Disneyland Resort hotels and Downtown Disney. Travel must be completed by April 30.

This was an informal survey with no real scientific methods performed by a discount health care chain. How in the world do you lend their public relations any credence by posting this?
You may as well cited a third grader’s science project for an article.
First of all, don’t make accusations without backing it up with solid proof. I read their full press release, and it was no informal survey. If you have any proof to the contrary, let’s see it.
Second, if its good enough for MSNBC, NBC, Fox News, Reuters, Houston Press, Dallas Morning News, Tampa Tribune and the Tampa Bay Business Journal, then its good enough for me. http://news.google.com/news?&ncl=1292445115
Third, this is a blog. I also post about yetis and extra-terrestrials. So lighten up.
