Karina Petroni’s Never Quit Beach Fest
The sizzling Florida beaches, especially the Jacksonville Beach in Atlantic Beach, will get an extra layer of sizzle on May 31. 21 year old pro surfer Karina Petroni will be participating in a ‘Never Quit’ Beach Fest and 5K run.
According to The Leader, Karina Petroni will also be speaking about the importance of making healthy life choices, setting goals and fulfilling your dreams; protecting the environment; building character during challenging times; and loving and taking care of your parents.
Karina has been surfing since the age of two and has been taking part in competitons since she was nine, Karina is now the youngest surfer ever to win three amateur surfing championships and a pro title.
The Never Quit Beach Fest starts with the 5K Run followed by surf lessons, a surf competition, volleyball, fitness obstacle course, relay races and sand castle contest. Members of the Jacksonville Jaguars will be at the Beach Fest to help push kids into waves on surfboards.
