Motel Madness - Horse Tranquilizers, Mattress Money…
It’s a known fact that people do all kinds of wacky stuff in motels. But sometimes, stuff happens which is out of the ordinary even for nutty motel guests.
One of these aforementioned nuts is 30 year old William C. Wilson, a Fort Smith resident who was found in a Batesville AK motel, doped to the gills . Wilson apparently had trouble falling asleep. His solution? Taking multiple doses of horse tranquilizers.
In case you’re wondering, horse sedatives are dangerous to humans, and Wilson is lucky to be alive.
Moving on, next time you go camping and book into one of the Leavenworth motels in Wenatchee - Lake Chelan, Washington, don’t forget to check under the mattress. A Suquamish woman at the Evergreen Motel in Leavenworth found $1000 stuffed in an envelope under the mattress.
She called the cops and handed over the money, which is a very nice thing to do, in case the person who forgot the money comes back. But that raises the question - What kind of goofball would put $1000 under a mattress and then forget about it?
And if you’re going on a trip to Orlando on the cheap, you might want to think twice before you open the door for strangers in Orlando motels. Two men at the Super8 motel at American Way and International Drive opened their door for a woman who sounded like she was in trouble.
Turns out she was a decoy, and men with guns barged in, stripped the duo, tied them up, sprayed them with some kind of liquid, locked them up in the bathroom and then took all their money and belongings.
